Our Halloween activities started on Thursday this year. We went to a play group Halloween party with our friends. I did not know it was a costume party, so we did not dress in costumes, but the girls were all dressed up in Halloween clothes. I left my camera at home for it one. Bummer!
For Halloween this year our family was the The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf. Yep, we were cutesy and did a family theme. (What a great hubby I have to agree to do it with us!) We bought Kenya's costume and then I made Jasmin's. My costume was a carpenter pig (pig # 3) and we bought ears, a nose and a tail in a kit) Robert bought a mask and we made the rest of his costume. We did a little too our story. The 3 little pigs all had badges because we were cops too. Robert was the big bad wolf prisoner.
Then on Friday was our first dress up day when we went trick-or-treating at Melaleuca's home office. It was fun. We Kenya got a lot of candy and seeing all the decorations up there was awesome.

I cannot get enough of this! About 80% of the time Kenya is holding onto Jasmin's hand. This is not just while Jasmin is asleep. When Jasmin is asleep in the car Kenya sits there and holds her hand. I just loved it!! I just snapped a picture of it this time. Kenya sure loves Jasmin.

Daddy was able to join us during his lunch hour and he dressed up as a Raider's pirate because he had to be at work that day. And it was not Halloween after all.

Then on Saturday out ward had a party and Trunk-or-treating. It was a blast. We decorated our trunk, played some music and handed out candy. Here is Daddy's Big Bad Wolf costume. There are no masks at the church parties so he did not have it on.

For the first at least 15 minutes Kenya was content handing out the candy. She loved to make the kids say "trick-or-treat" and then give them candy. I had to convince her to go and get her own candy from other people. I am grateful for her and her giving spirit! She is not too caught up in getting things for herself.

Jasmin chewing on a sucker. No, I did not open it. It only lasted about 1 minute anyway.
Daddy was in charge of the doughnut eating game with the Young Men in the ward. Here was Kenya trying to get her doughnut off the string.
This party even had a Spook Alley. We went through and got a good scare at the end from a man who looked like a decoration. We had chili and hot dogs for dinner. What a fun time and we were able to hang out with friends from the ward. The party had all the fun games: Cake Walk, Fishing, Doughnuts on a String, and Balloon darts. There was a huge turn out! What a great time!
