AND OF COARSE I AM NOT ABLE TO GET MY PICTURES TO UPLOAD. It might be some new software Robert has put on the computer. I will try to figure it out to get pictures of Kenya posted. Sorry, or the delay.
Well, the Draper gang arrived on Thursday evening and we met them in Idaho Falls for yummy Chinese Buffet and by the time we finished that we were all exhausted and came home and went right to bed.
Then on Friday we did the graduation thing and that evening just hung around. I made my mom's famous pizza for dinner and we all enjoyed that.
Saturday we got a late start, but we went to the Teton dam and then tried to go to Mesa Falls. The road was blocked with snow just south of the falls and so we did not get to see them. There was plenty of fun playing in the snow though. That night we BBQ burgers and dogs and played games. Aaron and Kelsey were able to make it at about 8pm. Then we had a somewhat early night because we needed to be up and ready for the blessing the next day.
Sunday was great!! Robert blessed Kenya and it was wonderful. Aaron, former Bishop Garth Hall, Bishop Mike Murray, Cody Bailey and Robert were the ones who participated in the blessing. Kenya was beautiful and was quite the whole time. SHE IS AN AMAZING BABY!!! After the first part of church all of us came home except for Robert who needed to stay because he was needed in Elders Quorum the last hour. After coloring eggs we walked to Porter Park where James and Robert were hiding Easter eggs. Michelle, Christine, Tia and I then hunted for them at the park. That was fun! We had dinner when we got home and played games the rest of the night.
Everyone left EARLY Monday morning. (Some earlier than other...) It took us (Kenya and I) about 2 days to recover, but we are doing great now. We just needed a little rest.
Here are some pictures of Kenya in her Easter dress that her daddy picked out for her. Great eye dad!!!
Here is Kenya with her cousin Harmon Evans. He is a big boy and we think he will protect her because she does not have a big brother. Harmon is only about 5 1/2 months old. He is the giant that was born on my birthday last year.
On Wednesday we had our 6 weeks check up. I am doing great still and Kenya is fine. She is now 7 lbs and 21 inches. The doctor is not too worried about her weight, but is wanting her to come back in 1 month to check on her. Her head has grown 3/4 of an inch as well.
That's all the updates!
